Because the Synergy™ command and control product is so intuitive and easy to use, the minimal operator training required is provided by the local integrator/reseller. Upon request, a Synectics engineer can be contracted to remain on site during the first week of live implementation to answer questions and provide timely operator training.

Synectics also holds regular 5-Day installer certification courses in its Santa Barbara, CA, North American headquarters. End user and reseller lead technicians are put through a rigorous curriculum that covers all aspects of Synectics’ hardware, software and control products. Coursework includes system configuration, advanced operator training, trouble shooting and repair. Classes are limited to six students, each with a dedicated DVR, encoder and review station, so every participant receives maximum hands on experience and instructor attention. The course culminates with both written and practical examinations and those who pass receive a Synectics’ accredited certification to install and service our systems.

In addition, students receive an updated edition of Synectics system technical documentation, access to Synectics Tech Support FTP site for patches, updates and white papers, and ongoing Tier 3 phone/Web support from Synectics’ global engineering team.
